idk how to explain really..personal experience is the best way to put it i guess.

I went through something similar with my mom and having to be the adult does take it’s toll and teaches you to fake a smile to keep people from finding out the truth. And then from his draw my life video, vlogs and so on we know that he doesn’t really like to let it show when something is bothering him. He’d rather be the “happy one” or he just goes quiet and doesn’t communicate about it, according to Megan. Then the way he overcompensates with joyfulness and smiles, he just really reminds me of myself when i was depressed but didn’t want to and couldn’t let it show. 

I could be totally off in left field but still, I’ve always got the feeling while watching his videos.
